Abstract Background Bacteriocins are generally defined as ribosomally synthesized peptides, which produced by lactic acid bacteria (LAB) that affect the growth of related or unrelated microorganisms. Conventionally, extracted bacteriocins purified precipitation, where ammonium sulphate is added to precipitate out protein from solution.
